You are welcome to join our generational Sunday School class
at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Students range in age from middle schoolers to senior citizens. We read the Bible as a church family, verse by verse, discussing how it applies to our day-to-day lives. Different points of view are not only tolerated, they are appreciated. You can participate by reading, discussing or just listening, as you prefer.
Our church offers a variety of special opportunities for the involvement of children and young adults, including a weekly children’s message during Sunday services, involvement in religious education, Presbyterian church confirmation classes, and participation in camps and special events.
Our Presbyterian Women group meets at 11:00A.M. the third Tuesday of the month for our business meeting followed by a noon lunch and then Bible study led by our pastor. In 2018, the Bible study was “Cloud of Witness” and in 2019 it is “God’s Promise: I Am with You.” The group always has a mission project, which last year included disaster relief in Arkansas as well as a donation to Cross Ministries. The group has a spring and fall gathering with other groups in our region which includes exchanging information about Bible studies for the next year. In December, the group has a social outing for lunch at a nearby restaurant for good food and conversation in celebration of the year’s activities.
Rental of Church Facilities and Grounds
If you are interested in renting our church facilities for special events or for an ongoing use, please contact us. Aside from being a traditional venue for church services such as weddings and funerals, our church and its facilities have been a regular location for group meetings, fitness and educational classes, receptions, community events, thrift sales, and more. In addition to the sanctuary space, we have large and medium size meeting spaces, small classrooms, aG large lower-level multi-use reception and dining hall, full kitchen, and other areas that are available for rent.
